Grove Products, Inc. makes all solid shims, not hollow or cored. All shims are engineered for a wide variety of performance and load conditions and are manufactured from Polypropylene, High-Impact Polystyrene, Polyethylene, and ABS ( Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene.)
U-Shaped Shims
Typically withstanding ten tons of compressed force, lightweight "U" shaped Grove Structural Shims are designed to fit around bolts and anchors.
They are often used for aligning windows and curtain wall. Their rounded shape allows greater flexibility in aligning the shim with no protruding corners.
